One Year Of Reflections: Our Story So Far
April 29th, 2023 marks one year since our doors first opened. We are excited to celebrate STORIES By SWISSBO’s first full year and want to thank you for joining us on our journey.
There is a lot of momentum and excitement for the coming year. But first, we’ve taken a moment to reflect on the year behind us. It is with heartfelt gratitude that we look back upon the past twelve months and the memories we’ve collected along the way.
Join us as we reminisce about some of our favourite moments from the past year.
On April 29, 2022 we had our Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting!
Over the summer we had some fun in the sun! Of course, you never know when it’s going to rain in North Vancouver…
Autumn 2022: We officially became a Secrid Care & Repair Point. Repairing items is a great step towards sustainability. Repair, don’t replace.
October 31, 2022: We had a spooky time at Halloween. Thomas and his spider friend saw some great costumes and handed out lots of candy to local trick-or-treaters!
Winter 2022: The holiday season came in full swing, with Black Friday sales and lots of holiday cheer.

January 2023: We rang in the new year with great joy! We also celebrated Lunar New Year and the beginning of the Year of the Rabbit.
February 2023: We celebrated romance & friendship on Valentine’s Day
March 2023: We welcomed the start of spring and Nowruz with a Haftseen table.
We amplified B Corp month with a blog post about Environmental & Social Sustainability. B Corp is one of our great inspirations at STORIES By SWISSBO. You can read more about our sustainability initiatives here.
April 2023: We put together some Easter fun baskets.
This weekend on April 29th 2023 we’re celebrating our first anniversary in store. We’re hosting a prize raffle as our way of saying thank you to all our supporters. Our first year has been a blast and we look forward to many wonderful years to come!
We’re excited to continue working with brands that make a difference in the world, continue our commitment to United Nations Sustainability and Development goals, and most of all we look forward to meeting many great people along the way.
